Inside Tracker, Initial Review

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

I have done a great deal of research and experimentation the last few years to try to better understand autoimmunity and how it can be corrected.

Since the majority of people currently have autoimmune diseases or a genetic predisposition that can be “tripped” to stimulate an autoimmune reaction, I’m sharing a service I have found useful.

If you listen to The Hubberman Lab podcast or follow David Sinclair’s work, you are probably aware of Inside Tracker. It is a service that analyses your blood-work, DNA and lifestyle to determine where improvement is needed and how to achieve it based on solid science.

You can get a good idea of the service from their website www.insidetracker.com.

I ordered the full program to get testosterone and numerous other markers checked which I have never had tested.

I got the blood drawn on the 1st of December and my results came back in just 5 days.

I first logged into the phone app to review the data, which was not the thing to do. The app is useful after you have explored the data on the desktop platform.

The reports and recommendations are color-coded, nicely-organized and easy to navigate.

You can expand any group and see where your readings fall, look at different biomarkers within that group, see recommendations and current science.

I also was able to upload my raw genetic data from 23&Me. The evaluation of my genetics against the blood results was helpful to understand where I might need to put more emphasis, since I have an uphill battle in some areas, and other areas where genetic factors can be used to my advantage.

Overall, I think it adds useful information in an easy-to-understand format. I know what to focus on and I can have only those items tested whenever I want, from wherever I want, and upload to this platform. It creates a simple way to track my progress and see trends so I can make corrections before things are critical and require enormous effort to reverse.

I plan to add this to my understanding and monitoring health-toolbox. I continue to love my ketone and glucose measuring device by Keto Mojo and plan to get a continual glucose monitor next year.
