There is something touching about Seth Godin's insights, perspective and attitude. What he terms his "art" is beautiful to me.
Linchpin is brilliant, Leap First inspiring, and now The Icarus Deception. It takes everything further, deeper - allowing the pain, the fear and the resistance to come to the surface and be seen for what they are. When those dark forces are exposed, you can see how to engage with them, how you can use them to evaluate what is calling you and what is worthwhile. When you know what needs your attention and why, the pain is no longer something to be avoided but a something calling you, begging you to connect.
If you are an audio listener, this might make your first contact easier. I was initially frustrated listening to the audio version and trying to mark all the concepts I wanted to be able to reference. I decided to listen at a satisfying pace, once through, and listen again to mark.
I also ordered a physical copy so I could think through it in that format and highlight.
Listen, read, absorb. There is no predicting what art, what connections, what life this book could inspire you to make.
